Troop 237 Parents and Scouts
The September Troop Committee meeting is this Thursday, Septem=
ber
17, 7:30-9pm in the Fireside Lounge. All parents are wel=
come
and encouraged to attend.
Monday September 21, 7:30-8:30pm, is our next Troop Meeting.
As BSA has discontinued the sale of the red Class B shirts, ou=
r SPL
and Scoutmaster request that all Scouts now wear their Class A
uniforms to all meetings.
Mr. Weikert will be running Boards of Review on Monday 9/21.&n=
bsp;
Scouts please contact Mr. Weikert at 254-3195 to schedule a ti=
me to
meet. Please remember that you need to have completed yo=
ur
Scoutmaster Conference before your Board of Review.

Order of the Arrow Conclave is this weekend, September 19-20.&=
nbsp;
It is the big event of the North Western region, is being host=
ed by
our own Ut-In-Selica, and will be held on Coast Guard Island
between Alameda and Oakland. Arrowmen from all over the =
North
Western region will be camping together - there will be lots of
games, programs and great food cooked by the U.S. Coast Guard.=

Orienteering Outing=
at
Briones On Sunday October 11, the Bay Area
Orienteering Club will host its 17th annual Scout-O', an offic=
ial
orienteering competition at Briones Regional Park. This
competition is a map and compass race, where teams progress ar=
ound
the park to a series of controls identified on the course
map. There are 4 different courses, depending on skill a=
nd
experience levels. Last year, Troop 237 placed 1st overa=
ll -
join in the fun and competition of the day!
A signup form and flyers will be available at the 9/21
meeting. Scouts will meet at the church upper parking lo=
t at
8am, we will carpool to Briones, and will return to the same
location by 4:30pm. Bring lunch and lots of water.

Invitational The 2009 MSDC Golf Invitational will be =
held
Monday October 5th at the Orinda Country Club. What a fu=
