Orinda Book Fair - = 10/3<= /span>

Orinda Book Fair, Saturday, October 3, 2009
7:30-9:30 am, Orinda Community Library (meet in the Library Pl= aza by 7:30am for check-in).
Scouts should wear Class A uniform.

It's not too late - if you'd like to help out at the Book Fair tomorrow morning, please email Mark Palmer, Scout Leader, to sign up. Scott Fife is the = Adult Advisor - thanks Scott!.

Monday 10/12 Planning Meeting for Recruit Outing<= /span>

Monday October 12 is Columbus Day, and a school holiday, so th= ere will not be a formal Troop meeting. For those Scouts going on= the October 17-18 Recruiting Outing, we will have a planning meeti= ng on 10/12, 7:30-8:30pm. I hope this means the entire Troop w= ill be coming to the planning meeting!

At the Recruitment Planning meeting, we need to figure out what would be fun to do, what we want to teach the boys/parents abo= ut our Troop, plan the Saturday night campfire, collect what supp= lies we need from the store room and organize as much as possible, before we meet possible new scouts and parents Saturday 10/17. We need to put our best foot forward! See y= ou then.
